Galactic, created and owned by British visionary entrepreneur
Richard Branson, is the world's first spaceline. Its unique spacecraft
is modelled after SpaceShipOne, winner of the Ansari XPrize competition
in October 2004. SpaceShipTwo, unveiled in January 2008, is developed
by the same team, led by Burt Rutan in California. The roll-out
