In 2001, the first space "tourist" flew to the ISS with a Soyuz spacecraft. Since then, four more millionnaires have discovered the joys of weightlessness while conducting missions in the field of education, science or working for special causes. Those private and extremely expensive trips have been organized by Space Adventures.

Scheduled ISS Mission: as a crew member on a bi-annual "taxi" mission to the ISS; 1 week on board

Price: $30-40 million

Private Mission: leading a customized mission with a Soyuz TMA spacecraft

Spacewalk Mission: 16 days aboard the ISS with Extra-vehicular activity ("spacewalk")
Training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia
Price: $45-55 million
